Medeama SC midfielder Richard Boadu confirms transfer talks with Kotoko

Medeama SC midfielder Richard Boadu has confirmed transfer talks with Asante Kotoko over a possible move in the on-going transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to the Porcupine Warriors following his impressive performance for the Yellow and Mauves lads.

Boadu made 15 appearances for Medeama SC in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

"It’s true Asante Kotoko has written to Medeama for my services.I have told my management I want to leave for Kotoko after they inquired from me seeking my consent," Boadu told Kumasi FM

"I have spoken to officials of Kotoko too but not in details.

He added. "It has always been my dream to play for Kotoko despite wishing to play abroad. Kotoko has been a dream since I started my footballing career, it was special playing against them during my days at Corners."

"I cannot insist on leaving Medeama if they are unwilling to release me for Kotoko but I leave everything in the hands of God."

Boadu joined the former MTN FA Cup winners from Division One League side Phar Rangers in 2019.

His contract with Medeama SC will expire in 2024.
