Medeama SC shot-stopper Eric Ofori Antwi has disclosed that he wants to play for Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak before he quits the local league.
The former Asante Kotoko and Black Satellites goalkeeper has revealed his desire to join the Phobians, claiming it has been his goal to be in post for Ghana's two most glamorous clubs.
“I have to wear the rainbow jersey before I quit keeping in the local League, even though I have played for Kumasi Asante Kotoko which is a rival to the club I dream of in the past,” he told Sportsnewsgh.com.
“Playing for these two big clubs at the local level is my dream and I have to accomplish that”, he added.
The 23-year-old started his playing career with Amidaus Professionals when he joined them on 1 January 2012.
In January 2015, he signed for Asante Kotoko from Amidaus Professionals.
Antwi was appointed as the number one goalkeeper of the Ghana national U-20 team for the 2013 African Youth Championship and was crowned as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
He impressed at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey in 2013 and has since been one of the best goalkeepers in the country.
He currently plays for Medeama SC, where he propelled the Mauves and Yellow to the summit of the table in the first round of the suspended 2017/18 Zylofon Cash Premier League.
