Interim Black Queens coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoe has lauded her players for booking a place in the next stage of the ongoing WAFU Cup of Nations.

The Queens beat Burkina Faso 4-1 on Sunday in their final Group A match to finish second behind hosts Ivory Coast.
"My impression of the game is that my team were tactically discipline. They were doing the technical and tactical work that I have taught them with regards to the passing, everything was super," the former Ghana international said.

However, the trainer could not hide her excitement over the team's progress in the tournament.
"Whenever you win a match, automatically the feelings become very good and you become very happy," she added.
