Since their arrival in the Asian country for two friendly matches on Saturday and Tuesday, the Ghana U23 squad has been quarantined in South Korea.

Ghana had a COVID-19 scare on their journey to Japan, when one of their players tested positive for the virus upon arrival on June 2.

Ghana will arrive at Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, about 2 p.m. Thursday, according to the Korea Football Association.

The team's 18 players and 14 staff members will be tested for the virus, and they will be quarantined until the results are received on Friday morning. They will then travel to Jeju Island after the negative findings are received.

Ghana got pounded by Japan 6-0 and 4-0 in two friendly games to help the Blue Samurai prepare for the Olympics.
