Interim coach of Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei has attributed the poor form of the club in the second round of the league to unfair officiating.
The Porcupine Warriors will end their season by hosting WAFA at the Baba Yara Sports on Sunday. They surprisingly lost to Ashgold by 5:3 at the Obuasi Stadium on Wednesday. Many have called on the Ghana Football Association to investigate the match day 29 fixture because both played match of convenience.
Kotoko are currently occupying the 5th positon with 43 points.
Speaking to Kumasi based Nhyira FM, Mickey said, “The season have been very bad and there are a lot of factors that have contributed to that.
“As a coach, I don’t like to talk about officiating but during the second round, the officiating have been very bad because we were a bit favorite to clinch the league title but due to poor officiating it didn’t work.
“I know the season is over and I will admit that and as a young coach, I have learnt many things and I am hoping to do better next season." he added.
Michael Osei was given the mantle as the interim coach of the club after the management asked coach David Duncan to step as aside after losing to Aduana Stars at Dormaa in the Match Day 6 fixture.
