Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei has debunked Samuel Kyere’s claims about playing a fixed match with Ashgold.

Samuel Kyere who was suspended and demoted to the U-20 team with five other players has alleged the game involving his club and Ashgold could have been a fixed game.

But Michael Osei has denied Samuel Kyere’s allegation.

“I don’t have any problem with any player but I will say the public should not take Samuel Kyere serious,” he told Accra based radio station Asempa FM

“I usually tell the players that it is a big honor to play for Kotoko and as the head coach of the team, I have every authority to punish you if you misbehave.

“When I punished Samuel for misbehaving, he called me the next day and told me he is sorry and there he can’t train with the U-20 and I told him that is acceptable but you will not travel with the team.

Kotoko lost the game 5-3 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
