Micheal Essien lauds N’golo Kante for winning the PFA player award

Ghanaian international Micheal Essien has congratulated rench man N'golo Kante for winning this season's Professional Footballers Association (PFA) player of the year award.

Kante who has been impressive for the Blues since his move from Leicester City beat off competition from teammate Eden Hazard, Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovich, Romelu Lukaku of Everton and Harry Kane of Tottenham to win the coveted prize.

Essien who played for Chelsea for more than five years took to twitter and posted that,“My prediction came to pass,congratulations my friend @nglkante for winning the @PFA Player Of The Year.”
