Micheal Osei: "Bechem United is the toughest opponent by far that Gold Stars have faced"

Published on: 13 December 2021

Bibiani Gold Stars trainer Micheal Osei has reiterated that his outfit faced a well disciplined and tactical Bechem United FC in their match day 7 fixture.

The newcomers played as host to the Hunters at the Dun's park on Sunday, securing a narrow victory with a 1-0 win. Prince Kwabena Owusu's enigmatic free-kick was the only goal making the difference in the game, falling for Bibiani Gold Stars FC.

Bibiani Gold Stars having their hands firm on the steer, managed to hold unto the pressure from the visitors to record their third victory at home in the ongoing campaign.

The former Liberty Professionals and Asante Kotoko SC gaffer believe the Hunters were more compact and tactically discipline, causing havoc to stun the win away from his charges. Nevertheless, his substitutes pulled the rope to ensure they annex a win from a more discipline Bechem United FC.

"Sure is very important to have this type of goals coming in week after week when you train much on it".

"It was most difficult game we have played at home until now"We played against very compact and discipline team, I have to confirm that", He told Kolog Bonaventure in an interview.

"The Coach[Kassim Mingle] is doing great job with Bechem United because they really gave as a tough game"Continues variation of tactics was helping them but we needed to stick to our plan for quite some time".

"I knew before that the game was going to be a tough one because I watch them live at kumasi against kotoko"Afterwards I saw their results at their away games, especially against Olympics".

"They were very physical and very discipline on their tactical play", Coach Micheal Osei added.

Bibiani Gold Stars will travel to the Capital to reckon with Great Olympics FC next week in their match day 8 encounter.

Currently, Gold Stars sit 6th on the league log with 10-points, six points behind leaders King Faisal FC.
