Hearts of Oak midfielder, Ibrahim Salifu is set to feature in the Ga Mantse Derby after recovering from an injury according to local reports.

Having played a vital role in the club's success in his debut season, Salifu's progress was hampered by injuries last season.

The 22-year-old suffered multiple injuries and couldn't feature in the many games for the Phobians.

However, ahead of the derby against their city rivals, Great Olympics, the former Techiman Eleven Wonders playmaker has recovered from injury and is set to feature on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak opened their 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season with a defeat against Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa with Bright Adjei scoring the only goal.

The MTN FA Cup champions have lost all their last four games played against the two-time Ghana Premier League champions.
