Ghanaian international Thomas Teye Partey has clocked a milestone in Atletico Madrid colours after excelling in the team’s narrow win against Granada last weekend.
The Black Stars midfielder was in action for the Spanish La Liga side last Sunday when they posted a 1-0 win over Granada at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
That win on Match Week 23 of the season is the 100th time Thomas Partey has played in a match that has ended in a win for Atletico Madrid since he broke into the first team.
He came to limelight for Rojiblancos in 2015 on the back of several loan spells after coming through the second team of the Madrid-based club.
Since then, he has been unstoppable and keeps excelling whenever he is called into action.
The 26-year-old has as many as 30 goals to his name in all competitions for Atletico Madrid and remains an integral part of Diego Simeone’s side.
The Ghanaian is hoping to enjoy further success with the club even though he remains linked with moves to several top teams in Europe.
