The new head coach of the Ghana national team, Milovan Rajevac has stressed that he is confident the current Ghana squad can achieve great things in the future.

The Serbian tactician after a successful stint with the Black Stars from 2008 to 2010 has been appointed by the Ghana FA once again to coach the team.

Comparing the players he had then and the players available now, Coach Milovan Rajevac says he sees the current players going on to do great things.

“They were having local black stars at the same time as the senior team and many matches around gave me so much experience and knowledge about everything here so this is the key thing that I still have in my mind.

“Although I worked in Algeria for some time, even when I was with Thailand, I played friendly matches against Kenya, Gabon so I am still in the loop regarding African football so I think I have what it takes and this new generation of players have immense talent and I believe they can achieve great things in the future,” Coach Milovan Rajevac told the media team of the GFA.

The coach already has two wins since he returned to the Ghana national team. In November, his Black Stars outfit will look to beat Ethiopia and South Africa to advance to the final stage of the qualifiers to the 2021 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
