Milovan Rajevac excited after return to Ghana for Black Stars job

Serbian tactician, Milovan Rajevac has expressed his delight to returning to Ghana to take up the vacant Black Stars head coach job.

The coach since last week has been rumoured to be the candidate for the national team head coach job on the back of the sacking of coach CK Akonnor.

Finally today, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that Milovan Rajevac is the new head coach for the Black Stars.

Speaking at his unveiling press conference, Milovan Rajevac says he is happy to be back in Ghana and is appreciative to Ghanaians for the second opportunity.

“I will like to say I am happy to be here. I was here 13 ago and I pledged to take Ghana to world Cup and after that, I was the happiest person. I hope to achieve greater things with the Black Stars. I thank you for the opportunity,” the Serbian coach said.

He added, “This videos brings great memories and this was the biggest success of Ghana football and if Suarez shouldn't have done what he did, I believe we could have been champions of the world.

“I believe everything is possible and when we are able to out our resources together we can achieve our target.”

Coach Milovan Rajevac has signed a 1-year contract and will be paid $30,000 per month.
