Miralem Pjanic Ready to Finally Make His Juventus Debut After Recovering From Injury

Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic insists he is now ready to take to the field for the Serie A champions this weekend for the first time after shaking off an injury,FourFourTworeports.

The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes in Bosnia and Herzegovina's5-0 thrashing of Estonia in their World Cup qualifying match, with the game beinghis first full match after sustaining minor injury in the opening stages of the season.

It means thathe could be in line to make his first competitive appearance for Juve this weekend against Sassuolo aftermovingto Turin from Roma for £27m and agreeinga five-year deal back in June.

Pjanic was an unused substitute in Juve's wins against Fiorentina and Lazio, but he is now hoping to help his new side in a busy September, which starts with Sassuolo and their Champions League opener against Sevilla next week.


"I had small physical problems for the first two matches, but I'm fine now," Pjanic told Premium Sport.


"Now there will be Sassuolo, then Sevilla. An important cycle awaits us, we play every three days, but I'm ready.

"What we want is to keep the victories [of] last year going without forgetting the Champions League.


"We will look to progress the round [group stage] and then we'll see what happens," the 26-year-old added."Obviously a team like Juventus must point to everything. We will do our best [to win it all]."


The Serie A champions were knocked out at the last 16 stage by Bayern Munich last season after finishing as runners-up in 2015, where they lost to Barcelona.
