Mohammed Abubakar returns to training after one month on the sidelines

Karela United Left-back Mohammed Abubakar has made good results and returned to normal training following a one-month injury layoff.

On Wednesday morning, assistant coach Kingsley Eben Sagoe directed the defender to sprint on the sidelines of the pitch before he later introduced him to leg and ankle muscle strengthening exercises.

In their last pre-season game against their regional rivals Medeama SC, where Diawisie Taylor's brace was enough to guarantee the Pride and Passion lads a 2:0 victory, Mohammed Abubakar picked up an ankle injury.

Karela United are currently first on the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League table with seven points after three games, they drew 2-2 with Ashantigold, won 1-0 against Inter Allies, and won 2-1 against Dreams FC.
