Mohammed Kudus scores for Ajax in win over Excelsior

Ghana star Mohammed Kudus scored for Ajax on Sunday in their 4-1 win over Excelsior in round 19 of the 2022/23 Eredivisie season.

The Black Stars midfielder has now scored in back-to-back games after the 2022 World Cup after also netting in midweek against Volendam.

The 22-year-old gave the Dutch giants the two-goal cushion after the hosts were pushing for the equalizer.

It was his seventh goal of the league season in 18 games for.

Dusan Tadic gave Ajax the lead after 15 minutes before Redouan El Yaakoubi levelled for the hosts at Stadion Woudestein.

Davy Klaassen made it 2-1 for Ajax a minute into first half stoppage time.

Mohammed Kudus then took center stage when he stuck audaciously from a distance to give Ajax a 3-1 lead.

Devyne Rebsch wrapped up the scoring a spectacular 83rd minute finish.

Ajax have now won their first game in four, drawing the previous three.
