Moses Odjer set to sign two-year contract extension at Salernitana

Footballghana.com can report that Ghanaian international, Moses Odjer is on the verge of signing a new two-year contract extension at Italian lower division side Salernitana.

The 23-year old has been with the Italian Serie B side since joined from Catania in 2015. After making as many as 108 appearances for the side, he has established himself as one of their key men and continues to perform at the top level on matchdays.

His fantastic start to the 2019/2020 season has attracted interest from a number of teams including Palermo who is reportedly prepared to make an offer for the midfielder in the January transfer window.

In a bid to keep hold of Moses Odjer, Salernitana has decided to offer the Ghanaian with a new two-year contract on top of his current deal which is expected to expire in June 2020.

Manager Gian Piero Ventura regards the midfielder as a key asset to his side and wants the club to do all they can to keep him as they continue their quest for promotion to the top-flight in the shortest possible time.
