Ghanaian international Moses Odjer impressed for Trapani Calcio on Monday night as they defeated Bright Gyamfi’s Benevento Calcio in the Italian Serie B.

The two Ghanaian players have been key for their respective clubs this season and earned starting roles when they locked horns at the Stadio Polisportivo Provinciale.

In what was a Matchday 34 fixture of the campaign, it was Moses Odjer and his outfit that had the last laugh.

Following a very good campaign in the first half, Luca Pagliarulo scored on the 35th minute to send the home team into the halftime break with a deserved lead.

The team soaked the pressure from Benevento in the second half and put the game to bed on the 90th minute courtesy a strike from Mamadou Coulibaly.

Ghana midfielder Moses Odjer lasted the entire duration for Trapani on the matchday with his compatriot Bright Gyamfi lasting 56 minutes before his place was taken by Massimo Volta.
