The reigning top-scorer of the Ghana Premier League, Latif Blessing says his mother advised him to reject a transfer to Tunisian side CS Sfaxien because the deal will not be good for his career development.

Blessing revealed in an interview on Happy FM that he was on the verge of joining Sfaxien after an agent Kofi Bawuah brokered a $700,000 deal, but he changed his mind at the airport.

The dimunitive player said his mother was praying over the deal and told him at the last moment that the deal wouldn’t help his career.

“I am not joining Sfaxien because after my mum prayed over it she told me the contract won’t help my career.

“I will go to him (Kofi Bawuah) for my passport. It belongs to me, so it is my property, not his.”

Meanwhile, the football agent, Bawuah has threatened court case against Blessing for wasting his time and resource, since he bought the tickets and got him a visa for the trip.
