Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Frank Nuttal has expressed delight in reaching the MTN FA Cup final after beating Wa All Stars in the semifinal.

Accra Hearts of Oak beat the Premier League Champions 2-1 at the Obuasi Len Clay Park to reach the FA Cup finals, after WAFU Stars Patrick Razak and Kwame Kizito scored to help the Phobias return to the finals for the first time in 17 years.

Coach Frank Nuttal, who joined the Accra-based club at the beginning of the season, has remarkably changed the fortunes of the club, and he expressed delight in reaching the final.

“I knew the players will be players will be motivated and focus, they always are and of course we are delighted to get into the MTN FA Cup final,” Nuttal said.

Accra Hearts of Oak lie third in the Ghana Premier League and are just four points adrift of Leaders Aduana Stars, however, the Scotsman is confident they can win the Ghana Premier League in a potential double winning season.

“Of course, we’ve said quite really, we want to win every competition and game we compete in and so our focus is to enjoy getting into the final, recover for the next 72 hours and be ready for the next game in Wa,” he added.

The Phoians will travel to Wa on Wednesday to face the same opponents in the Ghana Premier League.
