The MTN FA Cup reaches the homestretch in a thrilling fashion this weekend after the men have been separated from the boys right from the preliminary round to the last eight stage.

Between tomorrow and Sunday, five premiership clubs and three Division One League clubs will be called to duty to determine which four teams would emerge candidates for the sumptuous semi-final double-header in Kumasi, leading to the grand finale at the enviable Cape Coast on August 28.

At the Wa stadium tomorrow, the much-awaited local derby between Premier League leaders, Wa All Stars, and city rivals, Wa Rockets, will take centre stage in a whirlwind fashion too close to call.

Around the same time at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park, Liberty Professionals will be bracing for a tough assignment against a well-drilled Elmina Sharks side in another close contest.

On Sunday, hot favourites Kumasi Asante Kotoko will play host to fellow division elite league campaigners, Bechem United, in a game which promises to be full of action, while Okwahu United clash with exciting WAFA in a fierce encounter at the Nkawkaw park.
