Ghanaian duo Mubarak Wakaso and Patrick Twumasi will reportedly be shown the exit door from Spanish La Liga side at the end of the season when new manager Asier Garitano takes charge of the team.
Asier Garitano will be the man to carry out renovations works at the club following head coach Abelardo’s decision not to extend his contract at the club. The new gaffer’s agreement will be made official in the coming days and he is expected to commence work as soon as the league ends.
Even before he assumes office, the manager is said to have presented a list of staff/players that will need to leave the club. According to reports, he deems the players not fit to help the execution of the ideology he will be bringing on board.
Management of Deportivo Alavés has already received is a very extensive list of players who do not fit into this plans. Due to that, those players must be sold to make way for some new additions to be made.
A total list of six players including defenders Carlos Vigaray and Adrián Marín, together with midfielders Wakaso Mubarak and Manu García, as well as attackers John Guidetti and Patrick Twumasi who are under contract with the club will be shown the exit door.
