Mubarak Wakaso gets a new coach at Granada

Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso's club side Granada have appointed Arsenal legend Tony Adams as their new coach.

The 50-year-old has been out of the game since spending a season with Azerbaijan side Gabala in 2010.

Adams was also in charge of Wycombe and Portsmouth for a season but struggled to find his feet in the dugout. He played over 500 games or Arsenal - the only club he represented during a stellar playing career.

Adams won fourth league titles with the Gunners as well as three FA Cups and two League Cups.

He represented his country 66 times, scoring five goals.

Granada are second bottom of the Spanish top flight and lost 3-1 to Valencia last weekend, a result that saw Lucas Alcaraz sacked.
