Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has recovered and returned to full training with his club side Deportivo Alaves after spending some time on the sidelines.

Wakaso missed last weekend's game with Girona following a shoulder injury he sustained whiles training with the team.

The 26-year old has since recovered and on Thursday lasted the entire training session with his other team mates.

Barring complications, everything suggests that Wakaso will be available for selection in Saturday's La Liga game with Huesca on Sunday.

The former Las Palmas midfielder has been a key member of the Deportivo Alaves team this season helping the club to 5th on the table with 20 points.

Wakaso's recovery is a welcome news for Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia on November 18 in Addis Ababa.
