Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has been unveiled by his new club Granada CF today at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.

Wakaso was introduced to fans of Granada and later participated in his first press conference as a Granada player.

He also took part in his first training session under Lucas Alcaraz after competing for Ghana in the 2017 AFCON.

He said: "I've seen a lot of quality in the team, we can make something beautiful from here to end of season."

The combative midfielder joined the Spanish side in the January transfer window on a six-month loan deal from Greek giants Panathinaikos.

The 26-year-old’s contract with Panathinaikos will ran out in 2019 but the Liga Santander side have an option to purchase after his loan spell.

Wakaso was member of the Black Stars squad that finished fourth in the just ended Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
