Muniru Sulley’s Steaua Bucuresti drawn to play Manchester City in UEFA Champs Leg playoffs

Ghanaian midfielder Muniru Sulley will face Manchester City after his team Steaua Bucuresti was drawn to play against the English side in the UEFA Champions League pla playoffs qualifier. The Romanian side advanced to the final qualifying round after eliminating Czech side Sparta Prague.

Sulley came off the bench in the 2-0 win at home on Tuesday night as the Red and Blues advanced 3-1 on aggregate.

Manchester City new manager Pep Guardiola will be involved in this stage of the competition for the first time having qualified straight to the group stage during his spells with Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

The first leg will be played at the Arena Naţională on 16 August and the return leg at the Ettihad Stadium on 24 August.
