2017 WAFU Cup winner, Vincent Atinga has disclosed that he has suffered several racial abuse after exiting the country for greener pastures.

Racism against black players has become a global pandemic with FIFA struggling to get rid of the canker.

Atinga currently ply his trade for Kuwaiti side Al-Shabab and according to him, despite suffering numerous racial abuse he is much concern about getting money to support his family.

“I have suffered much racial abuse in my professional career. Players intentionally call me monkey just to annoy me but in don't focus on that. My focus is on the money I will get to support my family back home." He told Akoma FM.
