The head coach for Great Olympics, Annor Walker says his wish for Gladson Awako is to see him playing for the Black Stars.
The 29-year old has this season displayed a dazzling form for the team of many nicknames after featuring in 2 matches for the side.
In games against Medeama SC and Legon Cities FC, Gladson Awako excelled while carrying the team to ensure they picked up a draw and a win respectively.
Speaking on the performance of the forward, Coach Annor Walker says he wishes to see his talisman wearing the national colours very soon.
“He is a fantastic player for me seriously. That’s my wish for him [To get a call-up to the Black Stars]. Even if not Black Stars I wish Awako goes back to play professionally. But he has to help me before he leaves (laughs)," the coach said in a post-match interview after the Legon Cities FC game.
Following the impressive performance of Great Olympics after the first two matches, the team now sits top of the Ghana Premier League standings with 4 points.
