Mystery Solved as Mad Chelsea Fan Reveals Why She Wore THAT Jacket to Everton vs Man Utd Game

Published on: 04 December 2016

Last weekend's Premier League action was, by all accounts, prettycrazy.

Nearly every match had its talking points and it's safe to say that many of us were in need of a lie down after Bournemouth's remarkable comeback win over Liverpool on Sunday.

Sadly, no such respite was on offer, as Everton vs Manchester United kicked off just half an hour after the madness had unfolded at Dean Court.

But whilst the match at Goodison wasn't as quite as lively as that which preceded it, the first-half action became entirely irrelevant when live TV pictures showed a fan in the stands wearing a rather inappropriate football jacket.

The fan in question was oneEmily Rogawski;caught red-handed wearing a Chelsea coat whilst sat amongst the Everton supporters, she has since come out in defence of her sartorial decision.

Highlight of this game so far... pic.twitter.com/XsceawRgpa

But before we get to that, as is the norm these days, this story effectively played itself out on social media as follows:

1. An infringement is spotted

Why's she wearing a chelsea coat at everton v man utd? pic.twitter.com/gcaC11yc6w

2. Observations are duly made

Top Chelsea chick at an Everton game! Come on you blues pic.twitter.com/djJE2xMU4i

3. A simple explanation is ultimately reached:

Firstly, there isn't anything wrong with fans going to matches that their own team aren't even involved in, but perhaps it'srare to see someone being as brazenabout it as this.

Whilst some have criticised her for wearing the jacket in the home stand,Ms Rogawski - as mentioned -has defended her choice of clothing and posted this hilarious comeback on Twitter:

Whoever is hating on me for wearing my Chelsea jacket please feel free to buy me a winter coat cus this is the only one I have... pic.twitter.com/IP2aQ24taf

(Non) mystery solved.

And yet, the plot thickens; originally from New York but now based in Liverpool, Miss Rogawski - a huge Blues fan - had already taken in the Manchester City vs Chelsea game the day before (where her jacket was no doubt more readily accepted), and was lucky enough to then get a ticket for the Everton/United game.

Mystery double-solved.
