Nana Gyembibi Coker, a former Special Assistant to current Kotoko board chairman Kwame Kyei, has questioned the significance of the VEO technology introduced to the club by Nana Yaw Amponsah's administration.

During an interview with Kumasi-based Ash FM on Wednesday, the Porcupine Warriors' one-time General Manager referred to the technology as "useless."

“The VEO is useless.” he said.

“What is the importance of the VEO. Can you tell me” he asked.

“We heard a lot of noise about it on radio for a while and since that time we have not heard anything about it again. By the way this is something for the technical team to use and so you do not have to even make such noise about it like they did,” he added.

The VEO technology, which allows Kotoko to video record live games and access the recordings instantly at halftime for analysis, was the source of contention between Kotoko and the Ghana Football Association at the start of last season.
