Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Nana Oduro Sarfo is set to report Asante Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah to the Police for allegedly threatening him.
In a conversation with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, the GFA Exco member have recounted how a little inquiry in a phone interview with the Kotoko CEO attracted insults.
“You are stupid, old fool, am not like you who begs to eat, be very careful or else Ghana can't contain both of us,” these according to Oduro Sarfo were the exact words of Nana Yaw Amponsah to him.
According to the Exco members, he only sought to find out if Fabio Gama had been registered when he, unfortunately, received these insults.
“I only asked how he [Fabio Gama] was registered since he just arrived in Ghana. It was a harmless question asked.
“He told me I can take him to wherever I want to, even BBC and that am stupid and shouldn't call his phone again.
“He told me I have no sense that I should stop acting foolishly. I swear by my dead father, my children, and the car I drive that these were the exact words he told me,” Oduro Sarfo shared.
Although footballghana.com has tried to get Nana Yaw Amponsah to comment on the accusations, all calls placed to his phone have not been answered.
