Newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has noted that he will be adopting a gradual approach to make the club the top-most in the country and in Africa as a whole.

The owner of Phar Rangers who stepped down from the chairmanship position recently has today been confirmed as the new CEO of the Porcupine Warriors club.

Coming in with a lot of enthusiasm and support from various key stakeholders of the club, there will be a lot expected from him.

Aware of the pressure at the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah has disclosed that he will take his time to properly put things in order towards ensuring that the club enjoys enormous success.

“One African problem that I have discovered throughout all my endeavors is that we think too big without thinking small.

“I must say that, every mighty building was laid brick by brick. If you think of it as a whole, it appears impossible to achieve, but if you look at it in terms of brick by brick, then know that it is very achievable.

Nana Yaw Amponsah, understanding the enormous nature of the task ahead has called for support from all stakeholders of the club to realise set objectives”, the football administrator said at his unveiling today.

He continued, “If you hire a Mason to put up a building for you, you have to do all you can to ensure that you give him the support to put up a very good edifice that could last for generations to come.

“Otherwise when he’s done and leaves one day, you will be the one living in that building”.

“You must give me all the support I need so that I can help build an edifice that will go beyond boundaries”.
