Napoli to renew three more stars

Following Kalidou Kouliably’s commitment to a new Napoli contract, the club have now turned their attention to renewing the deals of three further first team players.

After negotiations throughout the summer, the central defender put pen to paper on a contract extension at the Stadio San Paolo this week, which also included a €100 million release clause.

That deal now ties ‘K2’ to the Partenopei until the summer of 2023 and sees his salary rise to €3.5m per season and in the wake of that, Sky Sport Italia report that further talks are planned with other players.

According to the report, the club are determined to extend the deals of Arkadiusz Milik, Piotr Zielinski and Elseid Hysaj before the end of 2018 and discussions have began with the representatives of each player.

Milik’s current deal with Napoli expires in 2021, while his compatriot’s also runs out at the same time as does that of Hysaj, which is why the club are so keen to trigger talks and keep the trio at the club for the long term.
