Napoli have had a great start to the Serie A season.
Napoli extended their Serie A record this season to seven straight wins with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Cagliari to keep them top of the table.
Maurizio Sarri's side started the weekend top on goal difference from Juventus and made light work of their Sardinian visitors.
Marek Hamsik, Dries Mertens -- from the penalty spot -- and Kalidou Koulibaly wrapped up a routine win as Napoli scored at least three goals for the 11th successive time in Serie A.
Marcelo Brozovic scored two goals in the space of three minutes to secure Inter Milan a 2-1 victory over Benevento and move them up to second.
Brozovic opened the scoring in the 19th minute as he arrived in the box to head home an Antonio Candreva cross, and just three minutes later he added a second, bending a fine free kick into the top corner.
Marco D'Alessandro pulled one back for Benevento just before half-time, finishing into the bottom corner following a fast break -- ending a 567-minute goal drought for the club in Serie A -- but the home side were unable to find an equaliser in the second half, with Inter holding on to record a sixth league win from seven games this season.
Juventus can move ahead of Inter and possibly Napoli when they take on Atalanta later on Sunday.
