National Sports Authority withdraws outrageous charges on clubs for using Accra Sports Stadium

The National Sports Authority [NSA] have withdrawn their outrageous on clubs for using the Accra Sports Stadium.

With the  2020/21 Ghana Premier League scheduled to start on November 13, NSA on Tuesday, October 20 in a statement reiterated that Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will pay a whopping GH¢20,000 per game for using the edifice.

The two giants will be using the facility for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

Kotoko have resorted to use their edifice for playing their home games due to the renovation which is currently ongoing at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Other clubs such as Inter Allies, Legon Cities and Great Olympics and other Division One Clubs that will be using the venue has been categorised at C and these clubs shall pay GH¢15,000 for the venue.

However, a statement on Wednesday morning indicates that the NSA have withdrawn their earlier statement issued after backlash.
