President of the GFA Normalisation Committee, Dr. Kofi Amoah has confirmed the Committee is reviewing of all sponsorship contracts and accounts of the Football Association.

He said this during the meeting with the press at Alisa Hotel on Wednesday.

The ad-hoc committee put in place by Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to restore the troubled GFA to normalcy have come under heavy criticisms in recent days for claims of lack of serious activity.

However, the  NC in refuting this claim but disclosed it has been working hard behind the scenes.

“The GFA’s accounts needed to be audited,” Dr. Amoah said.

“We have engaged an external auditor and they are in the process of auditing the accounts."

“The GFA has sponsorship contracts with several companies and we are in the process of reviewing them and to take decisions on them,” he added.

The operations of the GFA had been halted following the airing of the investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas on corruption in Ghana football where some top officials and several referees were caught taking alleged bribes.

Most of the referees caught in the documentary have been handed several degrees of bans while the officials caught including former GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi are still under investigations.
