Renowned referee William Agbovi says he has never received bribe from any club. There are talks that some of the referees were paid monies especially on the final day to aid some clubs escape relegation.
But the experience FIFA Referee has insisted he has was never involved in any bribing issues with any football Administrator and does not believe any of his colleagues will be involved in the act.
“I never received any bribe or brown envelope from club official in the just ended league season, I don’t know if is now on the way coming for that I can’t tell, I always believe in hard work and transparency I have never been involved in such act before, ”William Agbovi exclusively told Koforidua-based Kingdom 101.9fm
“I enjoyed a good season despite serving a ban in later part of the seasons but I learnt a lot of lessons from that and after that I officiated one of my best matches in the Ghana Premier League which is Kotoko”
