New Edubiase United will take advantage of the canceled football season to properly prepare for the next campaign, club owner Abdul Salam Yakubu has shared.
Having played 13 games in the 2019/2020 football season, the National Division One League side was enduring an inconsistent campaign as they occupied the 11th position on the standings.
Obviously delighted with the decision by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to cancel the season, the owner of New Edubiase United has disclosed that he will ensure he prepares his team well enough before the next season starts.
“For me, the cancelation of the season is good for me. It will give me the chance to prepare my team well for the upcoming season. It will allow me enough time to work on my home grounds”, the experienced football administrator told Angel 102.9 Fm in an interview.
According to Abdul Salam Yakubu, the cancelation of the season should offer every club the opportunity to do things right in order to come back stronger when the 2020/20201 season begins.
