Owner and President of former premier league side New Edubiase, Abdul Salam Yakubu has revealed that, no organised league in Ghana by the GFA Normalization committee will he join.
Speaking Asempa Ultimate Sports Show, said his outfit will not engage in any league in Ghana with the exception of the premier league and FA Cup.
"New Edubiase won't be part of this competition.Apart from the FA cup and the Premier League, Edubiase won't participate in any competition".
"I won't be part of the zombie community in Ghana football", Salam Yakubu said.
In continuation, Abdul Salam Yakubu enquired the interest of Normalization committee bringing to live a step gap competition and truncating the 2017/18 GPL which had it first phase honoured.
"What is the Normalization Committee's interest in organizing this competition"The Normalization Committee should tell us why the league was discontinued.They have to explain to us why".
Dr.Kofi Amoah led committee last week released a statement to organize a step-gap competition for clubs in Ghana after deliberation with club owners.However, their tenure of office will elapse 30th March, 2019 as a committee mandated to ensure football in the country is back to normalcy along side organise election for new GFA Executives.
