New signing of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Augustine Okrah has expressed his delight after returning to the club seven years after departing.
The former Ghana Premier League goal king rejoined the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year deal in the last 24 hours and is expected to give a boost to the side as they gear towards the start of the CAF Champions League.
In a post on the players official Twitter handle, he has noted that he is happy to be back at a club which he considers home.
“Happy to be back to help Asante Kotoko. This place is where my professional career all started. Kumasi is and still remains my home”, the Tweet read.
The attacker has developed over the years and now has a lot of experience under his belt that will go a long way to help the Kumasi based side when they start their campaign in the CAF Champions League next month.
Since leaving the shores of Ghana, the 25-year old has played for Sudanese rivals Al Hilal and Al Merreikh where he impressed. He will join his new teammates for training today to do his best and buy into the philosophy of new manager Kjetic Zachariassen.
Kotoko will travel to Nigeria to play Kano Pillars in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League on Sunday, August 10, 2019.
