West Bromwich Albion have announced landscape and design company Palm Eco-Town Development as their new principal sponsor, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The one-year deal will see the Chinese brand's logo imprinted on the front of the team's playing shirts during the 2017/18 Premier League season.

Palm is closely associated with West Brom's controlling shareholder, Guochuan Lai, who was a co-founder and general manager of the company's eco-town development arm.

The West Midlands-based club hope that the agreement will help them build stronger links in the Chinese market, along with developing the Albion brand by driving commercial growth in Asia.

Martin Goodman, West Brom's chief executive, added: "We are delighted to have Palm as our principal sponsors for the upcoming season and look forward to a successful relationship together."

"We are pleased to be associated with a company that is leading the way in their industry and we look forward to working with Palm during the 2017/18 season."

Albion also revealed that they have extended their partnership with Adidas for the 2017/18 season, with the sportswear brand continuing to supply the club's home, away, and goalkeeper kits.
