English Skybet Championship side, Newcastle United will announce the loan signing of Chelsea flop Christian Atus today.
The 24-year-old sailed through a marathon medical and contract negotiations last night on Tyneside.
He was accompanied on his visit to the club by his agent, Saif Rubie, who also doubles as the representative of Black Stars coach Avram Grant.
Rubie in a post on micro-blogging website Twiiter comfirmed the impending announcement by Newcastle .

Chelsea offered him to several clubs including Torino, Cagliari and FC Luzern after he was deemed surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte.
The serial loanee when the deal is announced will have joined his fifth club since signing for Chelsea in a £3.5 million deal from Porto in 2013.
