News In: Ghana winger Christian Atsu found alive after spending hours under rubble of earthquake in Turkey

Ghana international, Christian Atsu has been reportedly found alive by a rescue team after he was trapped under rubble following Monday’s disastrous earthquake in Turkey.

A devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on Monday morning has so far killed over 1000 people.

Unfortunately, Christian Atsu and some teammates of the Turkish Superliga club Hatayspor were affected.

A storey building they were lodged in came down and required that a rescue team comb through the collapsed rubble to find them.

After several hours, Christian Atsu has now been found under the rubble.

This is according to information gathered from Portuguese outlet A Bola.

The report adds that the former Chelsea FC star has been transported to the hospital after suffering injuries to his right foot and breathing difficulties.

Checks have revealed that Atsu, 31, is slowly responding to treatment and should recover start making a good recovery in the next few hours.
