Defender Mohammed Alhassan has said Accra Hearts of Oak is a big club to play for and that he is happy to be part of the current setup.
The player has been a pillar at the heart of the club’s defence since he joined the Phobians three seasons ago, and was a mainstay at the back during the canceled 2019/20 campaign.
And, he has expressed joy and happiness at being at one of the best football sides in Africa insisting that he will continue to give off his best at all times.
Speaking to Hearts Media the defender said
“It really feels great to be a part of this team and, I am confident that we will start winning on the pitch and win trophies for the fans who have supported us all along,”
“The competition for places in the team is great for we, the players and I think it is a good thing that will eventually yield positives when we return to action.”
“The time has come for us to win trophies and I am hopeful of that when the new season begins as every player is hungry and determined to win something for the club next season.”
“We are just waiting for the green light to be given for us to resume training and return to the pitch after the coronavirus pandemic and, I am positive that next season will be our year of success.”
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has opened the transfer window for the registration of players giving an indication that indeed action would return sooner than later.
