Neymar assures Barcelona pals: Don\'t worry about Vinicius Junior...

Neymar has assured Barcelona teammates that Vinicius Junior moving to Real Madrid isn't a heavy blow.

Barca have been trumped by Real to the signing of the Flamengo teenager, who underwent a medical for Los Merengues yesterday.

Despite his admiration for Neymar and admission he enjoyed watching Barca, Vinicius committed to Real over the weekend. The 16 year-old will formally join Real when he turns 18 years of age.

Meanwhile Neymar, says Diario Gol, has told teammates and Barca officials that missing out on Vinicius doesn't have to be such a bitter blow.

The Brazil captain has argued the teen still hasn't made his senior debut for Flamengo and will also need to adapt to Spanish football and Madrid life before Real can even begin to consider the deal money well spent.

Neymar remains a fan of Vinicius and is convinced by the youngster's potential. But he has told his Barca pals there's no reason to be down after seeing the youngster commit to Real.
