Nigel Clough has expressed his delight after Burton Albion completed the signing of English-born Ghanaian striker Kwame Thomas.
The 24-year-old joined the club from Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season last week after successful negotiations and passing his mandatory medical.
Clough is confident Thomas will add to a wealth of attacking options at the club in second half of the season.
"He will help us out in the forward department. He was a youngster in the Academy at Derby when we were there, so we know a bit about him," Burton manager Nigel Clough said.
"He came on for Doncaster against us earlier in the season, caused us problems and he’s a bit different to what we have. He’s big and awkward and will give us a presence in both penalty areas.
He added, "It’s a deal until the end of the season but we have a few things up in the summer, so he has a chance to impress but he has to get in the team first.
The highly-rated striker, who will wear No. 39 has featured for England's U-16, U-17 and under-20 team, however, he is still eligible to represent Ghana.
He has previously played for Derby County, Notts County and Blackpool.
He made 16 appearances and scored three goals for Doncaster this season.
