Nigerian champions Rivers Angels FC sign former Black Princesses captain Grace Adams

Nigerian side Angels FC have completed the signing of former Black Princesses captain Grace Adams in the on-going transfer window, Footballghana.com report.

Adams penned a one-year deal with the three-times league champions from University of South Florida Women’s Soccer after parting ways with the American side.

Speaking after her successful registration, the former Ghana U-20 skipper expressed her delight and hopes to win more laurels in the coming seasons.

“I’m very happy to be here, I know Angels are a great club and the expectations are high. My main aim is to help the club to win more trophies and maintain our position in the league as leaders”, she told fans after her successful registration with the Nigerian giants.

She is expected to make her debut in the Nigerian Women Premier League in the coming days.

Angels FC are top of the Zone A table with 7 points.

Rivers Angels FC have won the Nigerian women league for three times, lifting the Nigerian Women’s Cup on five occasions, last in 2014.
