Nigerian giants Ifeanyi Ubah express interest in signing Kotoko's Yacouba

Nigeria Premier League side Ifeanyi Ubah have expressed interest in signing Asante Kotoko's striker Sogne Yacouba in the on-going transfer window.

Mitko Dobrev, who previously managed Ghanaian Premier League side Hearts of Oak was appointed as the new coach of the Anambra-State club on Monday and is eyeing a move for the 28-year-old.

Coach Mitko Dobrev wants to beef up his striking department in the on-going Nigerian Premier League season.

According to reports, both parties are currently locked in negotiations over the possible transfer of the Burkina Faso international, however, the Porcupine Warriors will accept not less than $120,000 as signing on fee if the player should join them.

Yacouba has two weeks left on his contract and he is eager to leave the club as talks between the two parties have broken down on three occasions since December.

The highly-rated striker is  also on the radar of Zesco United, Al Hilal and Orlando Pirates.
