No Black Stars player was included in the 2019 African Best XI released by CAF on Tuesday evening in Cairo, Egypt.
Also known as the FIFpro Africa Best XI, the list was dominated by Senegal who had three players Kalidou Koulibaly, Idrissa Gana Gueye and Sadio Mane- who was crowned African Best Player for the first time in his playing career.
Cameroon and Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana was named to man the post following his consistency at club level in the Eredivisie and UEFA Champions League.
The defenders are Morocco's Achraf Hakimi, Cameroon, Joel Matip and Serge Aurier of Ivory Coast.
In-form Arsenal forward and Gabon captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also made the squad.
Algeria captain Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City, PSG star Idrissa Gana Gueye, Hakim Ziyech of Ajax and Morooco) and Egypt and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah complete the list.
