He reveals the low salaries players in the domestic league receive is his reason for recently joining India I-League club Real Kashmir.

The central defender has reportedly signed a deal with the Snow Leopards until the end of the season.

Speaking in an interview about his move to India, the 27-year-old did not mince words about why he left Ghana to play a half season in India. He said he moved to Real Kashmir because of money.

“No Ghana Premier League player can boast of 50,000 Ghana cedis in his bank account for playing in the league for 5 to 6 years," Richard Osei Agyemang told Kumasi-based Wontumi FM.

"I decided to move to India because of money. The GPL can’t afford that," he reiterated.
