No Medeama return for apologetic Tom Strand

Medeama SC will not take their former coach Tom Strand back despite recent reports linking the Swedish trainer back to the club.

Strand who has been in the country for some time now with the hope of going back to the Tarkwa based side is reported to have been told that he will not be given a second chance.

The Swedish trainer unceremoniously left Medeama last year during the team's CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

He has apologised for that behaviour and wished the club all the best in the future.

He posted on his Facebook page "I want to thank all my fans and people in tarkwa for a wonderful run. I wish you carry the team for more success. Once again am sorry have I left the club.  Time now to move on. Medeama never give up,”

He led Medeama to win the MTN FA Cup and Super Cup title beating Kotoko and Ashanti Gold respectively.
